Teaching

I am currently teaching 3 classes of Freshman English. I will soon be taking  over a Freshman English Inclusion class and team teaching a journalism course. Once midterms are over I will be starting a unit on the Odyssey. So if any one has anything on the Odyssey I would appreciate it. Also if anyone has any ideas for article topics for the school newspaper that would be great. The students in that course are not very motivated and I want to find ideas that will encourage them to write. The paper is planned to be an April 1 edition.
Hope everyone saw we need to turn in our work early for class. Its due on Blackboard this Sunday.

Hello Everyone!
I hope that everyone is enjoying student teaching. I am so glad we will get to see each other during seminar. I am teaching five classes of tenth graders (two honors classes). We are currently reading Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye, and then moving on to Of Mice and Men.

Get the ball rolling

First order of business - we need more e-mails. Only a few people have signed up so if you know an e-mail for somebody in class please post it so we can track them down and nag them until they join.

Second order of business - What is everybody teaching. I thought maybe we could all share what topics we are teaching. That way if two people are working on the same thing they could they could have more resources.

and Thirdly - How is everyone doing?
